Two Coats Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color, wavy nail design
Make sure to move fast and apply the magnet as soon as possible or else the polish will dry and you wont get your 3-D design.

I really liked this magnetic polish. I have used several different brands and this one was pretty good. It went on really well and was opaque in one coat. The formula was good. It went on easily. The brush was ok. I guess I really like pro-wide ones. The only problem was that you had to work fast. The polish dries fast. So if you want your design get that magnet on your nail ASAP. You also have to get the magnet as close to the nail as possible without smudging the polish. Yes, I smudged my polish twice. Basically, you are doing one nail at a time. It is a lot of trouble, but definitely worth it. The finished product is pretty fun.

Also you can buy different magnets for different designs on ebay. Super cheap.

Zoya 2012 NYFW Designer: Part 2 (Image Heavy)

Zoya 2012 NYFW Designer: Part 2

Zoya: Rekha, Toni, Monica, Natty, Evvie, Noot
Glamour Shot ;-) of Designer Collection

Zoya Natty
Smoked navy blue cream
Two coats of Zoya Natty
Label Shot
Photos taken in light box. This reminds me of a denim blue. The polishes in this collections are all creams.

Zoya Evvie
Evergreen green cream (Peter Som custom shade)
Two coats of Zoya Evvie
Label Shot
This reminds me of a forest in the fall.

Zoya Noot
Charcoal green gray cream
Two coats of Zoya Noot
I saw more gray in this color than the previous and way less green.
Label shot!

For the second half of the Designer collection, I would have to say that I love the formula. It is classic Zoya, and everything that I love about them. Zoya polishes always work great with me. I never have problems with their polish. They just go on beautifully. I also love that these polishes are 5-free. Five-Free means that they don't have 5 of the big chemicals that harmful to women, especially those that are pregnant. Those chemicals include: toluene, camphor, formaldehyde and DBP.
As for the colors, these scream fall. Personally, they are not my colors, I am more of a pink girl. However, these colors are still amazing. I could see these matching business suits, coats, or an amazing pair of shoes.

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen

Also available in SPF 12, 30, 50!

With its ultra-luxurious hydrating silk ribbons, Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration™ lotion sunscreen nourishes and pampers skin while providing broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection, and 12-hour moisturization when out in the sun.

Where to Buy

You can find Hawaiian Tropic products at most major retailers.
Suggested retail price: $8.99 for a 6oz bottle

In my Summer Beauty Voxbox that I received from Influenster I got a deluxe sample size of Hawaiian Tropic's Silk Hydration.
I love the way this lotion smells. I know this is supposed to be a sunscreen but I keep thinking of it as a great smelling lotion. I just love that. I hate the way that sunscreen smells. Well, I hate the way everyone in a 5 mile radius knows you are wearing sunscreen. This is amazing because you are wearing sunscreen but smells like flowers. It's attractive not repulsive. Anyway, those are my two cents. I will probably buy this in the SPF 50, since I am so pale.

A Sneak at Some Freebies

Awhile ago there was a deal for a discount on Lex Cosmetics nail polish on a site called Sneakpeeq.com. It is kind of a weird site, you sign up and there are deals on different products, but to see the deals you "peak." You only get 20 peaks per day. Sometimes a peak will give you a surprise, for example, 20% off an item, or free shipping. For signing up you get a free gift, I got a necklace and a ring(both pictured.) Also included when signing up you get 10 dollars off one item. I used that on my Lex Nail polish that was also 10. So, I guess the point of my post was that I got this stuff free. I was pretty happy. The ring actually fits too.

Also inviting friends gets you money. Invite ten you get 10 bucks and so on.

imPRESS press on manicure in light purple.
They came in a cute container, that was a pain in the butt to open.

Review: I was not totally sold on these. All I have to say is that these are fake nails and they look like fake nails, they even feel like fake nails. While they are cute and come in pretty colors, I don't think I could stand these on my nails for more than a couple hours. Actually, they didn't last more than several hours, as in I took them off in annoyance. They are sturdy though, and they grip to the nail, and did not come off. The sizes don't vary much either. While they fit on me, I don't see them fitting a great many people. I dunno if you like this kind of thing, they ARE great quality. I'm am not saying the quality is bad, they are just not my thing. Also, opening the container took me 10 minutes! It would not open for the life of me. Apparently you have to twist the top. I did, but it wouldn't budge. Eventually, it opened. They do look good in photographs though.

-Made with Whole Grain Quaker Oats
-Individually packaged
-Provides a good source of fiber
-Contains 6 grams of total fat per serving

Where to Buy

You can find Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies at most major retailers.
Suggested retail price: $2.69 for a box of 6 cookies

My Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. I received it for review in my Influenster Mom VoxBox.
Review: I thought these were super moist and chewy which is great. The flavor was amazing. It reminded me of fall and pumpkin pie. It had the same spicy flavors. I did need milk to finish it off, I guess that might be the oatmeal. I guess you could describe it as a thick cookie? I guess dense would be the word. However, at the same time it was fluffy. It was weird, in a good way. I hate raisins tho, so I had to eat around them. If you like raisins and oatmeal, this is the perfect cookie. It tasted healthy. If you don't like raisins, get another flavor. On the whole, I give it an A+.

Influenster Mom VoxBox

I was lucky enough to receive an 2012 Mom VoxBox from Influenster filled with samples of various products for me to review.
Inside were full sized samples of Impress PressOn Manicure (Press on Nails,) Stash Tea Superfruits Sampler, with a couple packs of Stash' honey crystals called Nektar, Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal cookie, Ivory Bar Soap, and Dentek Flosser for both kids and adults.
Stash Superfruits Tea Sampler with the Nektar Honey Crystals...I can't find the honey crystals in store. I really want them.
I have been using the Ivory, I like it, it is different than Dove, but I do like it. It smells good. I love these Flosser things, I hate flossing, I hate the stupid string, but these are cool because you dont have to deal with the sticky floss.
I am not a fan of raisins but it was still really good. I picked out the raisins, I will admit to that. I love oatmeal cookies. So it was a little love/hate.
These are the Impress PressOn Manicure nails. I am not a huge fan of these. They were a bit awkward. I felt like a five year old playing with fake nails again. They look pretty in the picture, but you could tell they weren't real. It also took me 10 minutes to figure out how to open the packaging. It just wouldn't open. I did like the color. Oh and if you go in-store, they have some pretty amazing designs. I probably would have worn them longer if I had gotten the amazing designs. All-in-all, I think they are ok. Not horrible, not amazing.

Thanks for reading. And Always Much Love,

<3 Holly
