Review: SinFul Colors Holiday Colors (Image Heavy)

SinFul Colors Holiday Review

(SinFul Colors LtoR: Last Chance, Midnight Blue, Out of this World, Daddy's Girl, Sugar Sugar)

Daddy's Girl
(Daddy's Girl, 3 Coats)
Sheer, Dark Purple, with a reddish glitter shimmer. Opaque in 3 coats. The formula for this one was very thin. The polish would slide off to the edges of my nails, it was pretty annoying. This was not my favorite polish to work with. However, the color is really pretty.

Midnight Blue
(Midnight Blue, 2 Coats)
Opaque, blueberry blue, the formula for this was a lot better. It went on smooth. However, this stained my nails like crazy, which was annoying. Pretty color though.

Sugar Sugar
(Sugar Sugar, 2 Coats)
Opaque red, with a slight glitter shimmer to it. The formula was pretty good. Went on smoothly. Did not stain. I liked this one best.

Out of this World
(Out of this World, 2 Coats)
Sheer silver shimmer. The formula on this was thicker. I definitely like this color. I am not a fan of the brushes tho.

Last Chance
(Last Chance, 2 Coats)
Opaque forest green. I have had this on for 24 hours and it has not chipped. No wear around the tips either. That is pretty awesome. Most of my polishes chip quickly, so I will give these polishes that. They have lasting power. Overall, for the price (1.99 at Walgreens) I would buy these. But I would also say it is hit and miss with the formula. I hated the purple one, but the blue, green and red were all pretty good. I do own other Sinful Colors polishes, a neon pink, which was hard to work with, and a glitter which I love. So, like I said hit and miss.

Zoya True and Fleck Effects: Part One (Image Heavy)

(L to R: Cho, Farah, Bevin, Skylar, Tru, Lotus)

(True Collection, not pictured Farah)
(Color Wheel 2 Coats, L to R: Cho, Farah, Bevin, Skylar, Tru, Lotus)

(2 Coats Cho, 1 Coat Out the Door)
(2 Coats Farah)
(Bevin, 2 Coats)

(Flecks Collection. Back: Maisie, Chloe. Front: Opal)
(Maisie on Nail Wheel 1-3 Coats)
(Opal on Nail Wheel 1-3 Coats)
(Chloe on a Nail Wheel 1-3 Coats)
(Fleck Effects over Cho, 2 Coats of each)
(Fleck Effects over Farah, 1 Coat each)
(Fleck Effects Over Bevin, 1 Coat each)

The New Zoya Spring Collections are amazing. True is great, I am not overly fond of nudes but I LOVE Bevin, Skylar, and Tru. They are beautiful. Skylar and Tru have amazing shimmer to them. They are perfect bright, light, and airy Spring colors. Bevin looks like Easter grass, like something you would see on a Sunday in Spring. The Flecks are AH-MAY-ZING!!! I mean Zoya Flakies, can it get any better?! My favorite is Chloe, but I love pink so that is an obvious choice. They spice up any color, and come off easier than glitter polishes. These Flecks "pop" better with darker colors. I would use them with blacks, purples, or dark blues. As always Zoya formula is A+, and their brushes are one of my favorites. I always recommend Zoya to anyone and everyone I know. I already have my sister addicted to Zoya, and my cousin recommending them to her friends. I thought Gems & Jewels were my favorite collections, but these two are pretty great.

If you are looking to buy, Follow Zoya on Twitter or Facebook, they always have amazing promotions. If not, their polish is normally $8/bottle

Review: Tuff Scents Wish and Wisteria

Tuff Scent's sent me two polishes to review; Wish and Wisteria, both are pretty awesome. One is a rainbow iridescent glitter and the other a clear top coat, both are scent infused.

(Wish: Pear: front of bottle)

Scent: PEAR
Quote: Always, forever and until eternity, the soul’s secret ingredient.
Scent infused nail polish. Scent releases as polish dries and lasts up to 24 hours or more. (s.r.p. us $14 – .50 oz.)

I loved Wish, it really does smell like pear. It is light, and every time I moved my hands by my face I got "whiff" of pear. It was really cool. I love this glitter because it is iridescent and has almost a rainbow of colors when seen in different lights. The only problem is the brush, it is a little awkward since it is so long. However, after a couple minutes I got the hang of it. I wouldn't suggest a top coat, my Out the Door caused the polish to peel of whole.
(Wish: Pear: Back of Bottle)
(Top of bottle, Rose lid)

I took so many pictures of the bottle because this is the most unique bottle I have seen from a polish company. The lid is a metal rose, and the glass bottle is long and delicate. On the front the name of the company is written in pretty cursive. The back has a bit of a quote that goes with the name of the polish. For example. Wish is "Always, forever and until eternity, the soul’s secret ingredient." I love it.
(2 Coats Wish, 1 Coat Out the Door)
(2 Coats Wish)
(2 Coats Wish over pink, 1 Coat Out the Door)

Scent infused nail polish. Scent releases as polish dries and lasts up to 24 hours or more. (s.r.p. us $14 – .50 oz.)

Sorry, there are no swatches of Wisteria, but it is a clear polish infused with scent. I did use it as a top coat over one of my other polishes. And it smells beautiful. Really floral. I have never smelled Wisteria, so I can't tell you if it is exactly the same, but it is pretty. The only sad thing about this polish is that it doesn't have a quote to go with it, like the others do. I really do love the quotes that come with them. LOL I think I would buy the polish just for the quotes on the back. It is so romantic.

Review: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure

Sally Hansen sent me two of their Complete Salon Manicure Colors for review, and boy are they pretty. Shinny Penny, a copper, and Himalayan Blue, sky blue, are from the Tracy Reese Collection. My favorite is definitely the blue. Swatches pictured below:

(Shinny Penny)
(2 Coats of Shinny Penny, 1 Coat Out the Door)
(A really pretty copper, looks like a penny)
(Himalayan Blue)
(2 Coats Himalayan Blue, 1 Coat Out the Door)
(A really pretty baby/sky blue)

Review: I love the colors. The copper went on a bit easier than the blue. The brushes on these polishes are my favorite. I haven't found any brand I like better. Best BRUSHES EVER!!! The polish went on so easy and I didnt make a mess like I usually do.  No tip wear for over 24 hours. Which is good for me, I am pretty tough on my nails. I definitely recommend these Sally Hansen's. They are about $7 at pretty much any store. Wal Mart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, are all places I have see them at. I would say Wal Mart is the cheapest.

Holly's Christmas Plushies

This Christmas, I made plushies for my family members. It took forever to make the ones pictured but I had a blast making them, and felt so happy to give them. My family really liked them. :) (I can't wait to get a light box to take better pictures) Anywho, below are the plushies I made. I am working on  m ore designs for friends who have ordered some. I am so behind.

I hope you like them as much as I like making them. :). As Always Much Love,
