More Birthday....

I have gotten some more Birthday presents and I wanted to share and say thank you to my friends and family. I really did NOT want to turn 30. I really did not. But everyone made it so much easier. I can say I missed my mom soooooo much and getting older sucks, even though I look 16. I just want to say thank you friends and family for loving me, and making me feel special. I love you too.

My friend Stacy sent me two caramel Tootsie pops that I am in love with but can never find, and Diamond in the Rough by Wet N Wild. I love it! Pretty awesome of her!
My brother, got me this eye shadow I have been wanting like crazy, by Maybelline in Forest Fury. It is gorgeous people. I love green eye shadows.
My aunt Loupitta spoiled me big time and got me some Brighton Jewelry. A charm bracelet with a charm in my birthstone, and two spacers, and a pair of earrings. We also, went out to eat at this rest'rant called Wahoo, it's amazing. They have the best Tofu with black beans dish I have ever had.
My other friend Crystal, sent me awesome gifties. A Hello Kitty watch. Too Cute. Revlon's Starry Pink. More Tootsie pops. Cupcake Earrings. and a lipgloss....mmmm. Talk about neato friends.

Not pictured are an awesome hand made card from a bff/sister named Steperoonie. I miss her so much, and her card made my day. Also, my sister-in-law Suzy sent me a 50 dollar gift card to Old Navy. I can now get a coat. I am freezing. :)

Thank you everybody. Thank you soooooo much!!!  As Always Much Love,

Review: Lex Cosmetics Lucky Girls

Have you heard of Lex Cosmetics Nail Polish? They are a pretty cool nail polish company that allows their buyers a voice in creative decisions about what colors get made. They also give back, by giving a percentage of each bottle sold to different charities. I was sent an awesome color to review called Lucky Girls. It is a beautiful, happy bubblegum pink. I love this color. It is a definite must for all girls. Read below for what Lex' website says.
(Lucky Girls)

LEX Cosmetics and Lucky Girls teamed up to create this pinky pink, perfect to cheer up the mood of any girl. Proceeds from this color will be donated to the Greek Orthodox Orphanage in Kolkata, India. For more information on this organization and to watch the movie created about this great cause, please visit
$3 will be donated to Greek Orthodox Orphanage."

(2 coats Lucky Girls, 1 coat Out the Door)

Pros: The  color is amazing, it is bright and fun. The brush is nice. The bottle is so very cute. The lid has an awesome design. The application was amazing, I've never applied nail polish so cleanly before. No chips.  No awful smell. Dried really fast. It is 3-free. Three dollars goes an Orphanage in India.

Cons: There isn't anything negative I have to say. I just love this polish.

(I love this color)

You can buy Lex nail polishes at for $10. They are definitely worth it. A portion of every purchase goes to each nail polish colors' charity. So, you get an awesome polish and you get to help people out at the same time. Kind of like Tom's shoes.

Many of us have been very lucky in our lives. Unfortunately, there are many people who face daily challenges with regards to fulfilling basic needs like shelter, food and clothing. Lex Cosmetics is committed to sharing in its success by donating a percentage of all proceeds to organizations and non-profits that are important to you."
Not only do they give back, but we get a voice in the colors Lex creates. We get to submit ideas to and we get to vote on the ideas they choose to put up. I think that is pretty awesome.

October Birchbox (Pic heavy)

Yes, I am behind. Sorry. This is my October Birchbox. Don't have mush to say, I am not blown away. I did love the hair oil and the lip serum. I hope November brings something better. What did you get?

(I love the box, but since the samples are so small, they should make the box smaller. To save on waste.)
(The inside...I always like the inside...the card is always nice.)
(Full Size is 2oz and $20. This Hydrating Primer gives you a flawless foundation for make-up--plus a subtle glow. It works on all skin tones. It really does, I'm as pale as a ghost and it blended in perfectly.)
(Full Size is 3.4 fl oz and is $29.99. Hair treatment with 3 essential oils (aragan, linseed, cyperus) with a vanilla amber scent. It smells awesome. You have to smell this stuff!!!)
(Full size is $30. A Face cleanser. It's supposed to be gentle. I haven't used this yet. I break out easy, so I am wary on trying out new products.)
(Full Size is $25. This heals and smooths cracked and dry lips. I really like this stuff.)
(Extra: A delicate detergent for your delicates. I have yet to use it.)

Well that was my October Birchbox. I was eh, about it. Not in love, not sad....just eh. I have yet to be blown away by Birchbox. I was really hoping for a full sized product. They used to do that, but apparently they changed the description on their site. So, eh. Don't know how much longer I will be subscribed. Anyway, As Always Much Love,

Review: NYC Underground Purple

The third and last NYC polish I will be reviewing is Underground Purple. This is a pretty lilac color with a hint of magenta in different lighting. This is definitely my color. I love love love it. This is definitely something I would pick up for my polish collection.
(NYC: Underground Purple)

I love the color. The application was awesome. Way easier than the gray. It was not goopy. I also love the flat brush. There have been no chips, so the wear has been great even after 24 hours. With a coat of Out the Door, this color dries really fast and smooth. For a cheaper nail polish, it really does not have a bad smell.

There isn't anything I can say.

(2 coats Underground Purple, 1 Coat Out the Door)

(Love it!!!)

As Always Much Love,
