Pink Wednesday: China Glaze Bad Kitty

I am so in LOVE!!! I received China Glaze's Bad Kitty from a swap from @ManuicuredMonkey, and I decided to put this lady on for Pink Wednesday. It is O.O. Yup it is to die for. It is pretty sheer even after two coats, but I love it. I cannot stop staring at my nails. The holo glitter in it, the pink, the girly-ness, it is all so drool-worthy. It is one of the better glitters I have tried. It wasn't thick and gloopy. China Glaze is one of my favorite brands, after Zoya. I love the bottles, and I love their awesome glitters. If you know the right people, their prices are also very affordable. I very much support China Glaze!!! <3

(China Glaze Bad Kitty 2 Coats, 1 Coat Out the Door)
(Still pretty sheer but very glittery)
(kind of hard to capture the glitter)

As Always Much Love,

<3 Holly

Ignore it!!! This company takes advantage of bloggers!!! They tell you they will send
you some products only if you put a link back to their Internet Store first. So I did.
FOR A MONTH. They got free add space for a month. They said I would receieve products
in the mail. Of course I never heard a damned thing from them again. After a month I
tried to ask Hazelle whether I should have received anything, and I got no response.
So I told them I would take down their add. No response.  I went to their website and
contacted them directly.

Here are the shady emails I got

Hi Ana,

Thank you very much for the email.
I'm terribly sorry to hear that the package has not arrived.
Usually it takes about 2-3 weeks to process samples because we have to go through the finance department and there is a check.
However, we've sent out the package a few weeks ago, and you should have it by now.

I would like to confirm your order, so please provide your full name, address, and telephone number.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Customer Care

They never even sent the package!!! You want to know why because I got this email today. Its absurd.

Hi Ana,

We've reviewed your blog and did not find any posts of beauty, cosmetics, health, or fashion related articles.I'm terribly sorry but I don't think I will be able to get the finance department to approve the samples. Please let me know if you have any other blogs with the forementioned articles.

Customer Care

HOW THE HELL IS MY BLOG NOT ABOUT BEAUTY?! COSMETICS?! WTF?! Obviously they never looked at my blog and they never sent the package and never intended to. This company is shady and uses small unsuspecting bloggers to put their add on their blogs for the promise of their products. You have no idea how happy I was to work with them. I thought wow how cool. Now I am just pissed. I got duped. Well now they made an enemy. I will  make sure no one gets taken advantage of again. If I have to tweet every day I will. But I wont forget this company is 100% shady to bloggers who work their ass off for GOOD companies. SHAME on YOU NAIL DE ROYAL!!! SHAME ON YOU!!! You got a month of free ad space, I learned a valuable lesson. Don't trust so easily.

As always to my readers MUCH shady companies, NO LOVE

No Post due to Illness

Sorry. No blogging til Monday. My bronchitis took a turn for the worst. I did it on my own and I was getting better, but today I got worse.

Will try to blog again on Monday.

EDIT: I found out I have Pneumonia. So I don't know when I will be better. I am trying to write some non-nail polish blog posts where I don't have to work. Painting nails is too much right now. But I hope you will still be interested. I do have a guest blogger coming up :).

Deborah Lippman: Believe

Deborah Lippmann Believe

*Created with Cher
*Sizzling, Shimmering Gold Beige (Metallic)

Price $16
Follow on Twitter: @DeborahLippmann

I got two Deborah Lippmann's to review, the first is Believe, it was created with Cher. It is a beautiful Gold Metallic, and in the sun has little rainbow shimmer. It is so beautiful, the pictures do not capture how lovely this color really is. I swear when I was driving in the car, I was in the passenger seat, I couldn't stop staring at my nails. The little flecks of rainbow were so captivating. (I did use one coat of Out The Door top coat.)

I love the bottle.
I love the brush.
I love the application.
I love the formula.
I love the ease of this color, there was less mess. (the light color makes it easy to apply)
I am in love with the color.
The wear was great.
1-5 it was a 3 in Opaqueness. Two coats and it was still a tad sheer. But I loved it.
There was no terrible smell.
This is a 3-free polish!!!

The only problem I have with this polish is the price. It is a little out of my budget. I don't have a job. But if you can afford it, definitely buy it. It is so worth it. It is very luxurious.

(Deborah Lippmann Believe, I love the bottles)
(Two Coats of Believe)
(There is a  ding on one of my nails. Not D.L.'s fault. I kept messing up my nails before they dried. Completely my fault. Not the polish!!!)

As Always Much Love,

<3 Holly

*Polish was sent to me for Review. Opinions are mine.

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. Zoya Promo Mini Haul

So, this past week Zoya had an awesome promo. Two free with any purchase. I got some pinks I have been wanting forever and some nail stuff because my nails have been peeling badly. I love the colors I got.
Zoya Ali, Kiki, and Qtica Nail Growth Stimulator
Zoya Ali is from the opening credits of Pretty Little Liars. This is the color that started my Nail Polish obsession. When the show came out I saw that color I just had to have it. However, I didn't know what color it was. My mom and I would stalk Rite-Aid looking at every pink trying to find the right one. You don't know how many pinks I bought, not to have them be the one. Well, my mom died and I still never found the right color. Until, someone in my NP&G group on Facebook told me to ask Zoya. They said Zoya was one of the main brands used on the show. So I did, and they were pretty sure it was Ali. Which makes sense, since the character it's on is named Alison. Well now I have the color I have been searching for, for over a year. I am pretty happy. Though, I wish my mom was here to see it. :-/ Kiki, just happened to be a color I loved. Yes, pink is my signature color. I loves it!!! I want to one day own all of Zoya's pinks. *faint*

Harry Potter Mani: Slytherin

Since I am finally going to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, tomorrow I decided to do my Harry Potter themed Mani. This is what I came up with. Looks creepy and Slytherin-ie right? I totally think all the cool Slytherin's wear this around Hogwarts. XD. I used the very awesome glittery Funky Fingers Erin and over it Funky Fingers' Black Scales (a crackle). These were both awesome gifts from my friend Jeanne Tutt. Totally a surprise too. Sorry for the messy photos but it is hard to clean up glitter. :P Anywho, can't wait to see this movie. I'm like the last person on earth who hasn't seen it.
